Today marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and France. Over the past 60 years, Sino-French friendship has continued to flourish. Lyon, a southeastern city in France, has an indissoluble bond with China. Based in Lyon in 1921, the Franco-Chinese Institute trained a large number of outstanding talents for China and witnessed a special history of exchanges between the two countries. In order to further bolster this friendship, the New Franco-Chinese Institute was established in 2014 to deepen exchanges and cooperation in such fields as the economy, education and tourism. In this video, Alain Labat, vice president of the institute, reviewed the century-old relationship between China and the Franco-Chinese Institute and looked forward to future cooperation between the two countries.
