A giant snowman, standing at about 18 meters in height and crafted from some 2,000 cubic meters of snow, has become a yearly landmark in Harbin City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. At night, the illuminated buildings around it light up the sky, showcasing the lively atmosphere of the city. Harbin is renowned for its abundant snow and incredible ice sculptures, drawing crowds from across the country to revel in the winter season. In 2025, the city will hold the ninth Asian Winter Games, and many athletes from different countries will come to this cold but warmhearted city.
