As traditional folk events that are usually held in rural China to celebrate festivals and temple fairs, Shehuo performances often feature lion and dragon dances, Yangko dances, stilt walking, waist drums and bamboo horses. To welcome the upcoming Chinese New Year, a series of Shehuo performances were held in the Jingxing District of Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, attracting people to feel the charm of folk arts amid the joyful atmosphere of the upcoming festival.
