A snow removal machine nicknamed "Bumblebee" has been used on the railway tracks in the Mayitasi area, one of the worst snowdrift-plagued regions in the world, to drastically increase the local efficiency of clearing snow on railroads. Mayitasi experiences gales with speeds of up to 62 kilometers per hour 180 days a year on average, making it prone to snowstorm hazards. The area has consistently experienced wind speeds of up to 62 kilometers per hour after a recent snowfall, posing high risks to rail transport. A team of 16 maintenance workers was sent to the snow-covered section on the GCX-1000 Track Snow Removal Machine to address the problem. The workers call the GCX-1000 Bumblebee because it's painted yellow.
