Kyiv on Tuesday said Ukraine's air defense systems downed more than a dozen unmanned aerial vehicles after the Russian forces launched two missiles and 35 attack drones at targets across Ukraine overnight.

Ukraine said the drones had targeted fuel and energy infrastructure and civilian and military facilities near the front line. It said its air defense systems, primarily those in the eastern and southern regions, had downed 15 drones.

The Russian side has not yet responded to the claim.
