China supports an early resumption of peace talks between the Palestinian and Israeli sides to ultimately realize peaceful and harmonious coexistence between Palestine and Israel, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin on January 31.

Wang made the statement at a regular press briefing in Beijing while commenting on media reports that the United Nations, the European Union, Palestine and Israeli think tanks recently called for the convening of an international peace conference on the latest round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict as soon as possible.
