Sales of U.S. military equipment to foreign governments hit a record high of 238 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, a 16-percent year-on-year increase. The figures underpin expectations of stronger sales for top U.S. defense contractors, including Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and Northrop Grumman, whose shares are forecast to rise amid rising global instability.
