Photographers have spotted rare birds foraging in the snow on Shenmu Mountain in Leshan, Sichuan Province. With recent improvements in the ecological environment, the area has developed into a paradise for such rare birds as the Lady Amherst’s pheasant, white pheasant and wallcreeper – all nationally protected birds in China.
