China's National Meteorological Center has forecast freezing storms in central and eastern China from January 31 to February 5, coinciding with the Chinese New Year celebrations. The weather is expected to significantly impact transportation during the peak of the travel rush, with extreme snowfall levels in Hebei, Henan and Shandong provinces.
