Freestyle skiers Liu Yishan and Su Shuaibing have been named as the flag bearers for the Chinese delegation at the closing ceremony of the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games in South Korea on Thursday.

16-year-old Liu clinched the gold medal in the women's freeski halfpipe final on January 31, while the 17-year-old Su finished fourth in the men's freeski halfpipe final.

About 1,900 athletes aged 14 to 18 from some 80 countries and regions competed in the Gangwon 2024 that ran from January 19 to February 1 in four host cities of Gangwon province - Gangneung, Pyeongchang, Jeongseon and Hoengseong.
