China's fifth research station in Antarctica is under construction as a hurricane approaches. The maximum wind speed can reach over 35 meters per second, which equals a category 12 hurricane. The curtain walls serve as a shield from strong winds. However, the airflow inside pushes out when the exterior walls aren't complete, making wind blow from inside to outside and carry away the walls. Team members hoisted the curtain walls for installation, weighing over 400 kilograms each, against strong wind. After 10 hours, they finally finished covering the exterior wall of the new station, which usually takes three days to complete.
