Russia needs to create a large "demilitarized zone" in Ukraine, one that is big enough to ensure no long-range weapons can strike Russian cities, Russian media reported on Wednesday, citing President Vladimir Putin.
The statement was "motivated by the need to push back security lines for the aggressor country Russia on the foreign sovereign territory of Ukraine," Ukrainian Presidential Advisor Mykhailo Podolyak replied on Wednesday.
