"Guomenjian" is a traditional folk art form in China. Generally measuring 16 to 29 centimeters in length and 8.5 to 19 centimeters in width, the works are typically presented in bright colors like red, green, yellow, pink, blue, and purple, symbolizing auspiciousness and good fortune. These paper-cutting artworks are commonly posted on door lintels alongside spring couplets during Spring Festival, and especially prevalent in Juxian County in east China's Shandong Province.
