Construction of the China Pavilion at World Expo 2025 began on Friday in Osaka, western Japan.

The China Pavilion, one of the largest self-built pavilions, covers an area of about 3,500 square meters. The bamboo-yellow structure taking the form of a traditional long scroll of ancient Chinese letters embodies the concept that Chinese culture originates from nature, conforms to nature and coexists harmoniously with nature.

With the theme of "Building a community of life for man and nature – a future society of green development," China's exhibition aims to show the vision and unremitting efforts of China and other countries in the world to work together and help each other, jointly build a community of shared future for mankind and leave a clean and beautiful world for future generations.

The World Expo 2025 will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025, on the artificial island of Yumeshima in Osaka Bay. The Japanese government expects to receive 28 million visits during the expo, with about 150 countries and regions and 25 international organizations participating.
