Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, visited residents in the northern city of Tianjin ahead of the Spring Festival. On Thursday morning, he went to Diliubu Village in Xinkou Town, Xiqing District, to find out about the recovery of local agricultural production since last year's flooding and visit affected people. In the afternoon, he went to Tianjin Ancient Culture Street to inspect the market supply ahead of the festival, and learn about the protection and utilization of historical and cultural blocks.
