The Chinese New Year is fast approaching, marking the Year of the Loong, or Dragon. As one of the Chinese zodiac signs and a symbol of the culture, the Loong is often represented in different works of art, including glazed pottery. In north China's Shanxi Province, a young woman and her family are busy creating Loong-inspired art to mark the coming new year.
