The ceremony for the launch of the 16th Hebi Folk Culture Festival was held in the city of Hebi, Henan Province, on Friday. The occasion marks the beginning of the temple fair in Xunxian County, which has a history dating back more than 1,700 years. The ancient temple fair in Xunxian County is considered a "living fossil" of Chinese Spring Festival culture. This year's temple festival will feature folk performances, cultural exhibitions, local opera performances and other activities.
