High up on the plateau in Chongye County, Xizang Autonomous Region, Grandpa Nyima is preparing for the upcoming Wangguo Festival. He's hoping to bring together a group of dancers to perform the Dro dances. But the call from Nyima leaves Badro, his former student who's working far away from home, in a quandary. He can't afford to take time off work, but on the other hand, he believes he has a responsibility to keep Dro dances, part of the local intangible cultural heritage, alive. Many of his peers are facing a similar dilemma. Still, Nyima continues to dream of reuniting enough of his former students to put on a full Dro dance.
