Hafez was a famous Persian lyric poet who lived in the 14th century. In season three of "Poetry Sans Frontiers", Iran's ambassador to China Mohsen Bakhtiar mentioned that Hafez's poems are full of romance and descriptions of ideal life, and in Iran's Yalda night, children will read his poems and try to apply his proverbs in their lives.
