Road icing led to a hold-up of vehicles on multiple expressways in central China's Hubei Province over the weekend. The icing is due to the strongest cold wave that hit the province this year since Thursday. As of 4 p.m. on Sunday, 249 expressway toll gates in the province had been closed. Expressway administrations and local people rushed to aid the stranded travelers.
