Five local people were killed on Wednesday after their car accidentally swerved to crash a guardrail and overturned, a senior provincial police officer said.

The crash happened on the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway in Kampong Speu province's Samraong Tong district at 6:44 a.m. local time (2344 GMT on Tuesday) when a fast driving car crashed into a guardrail at a curve, said Tab Lon, provincial deputy police chief in charge of road traffic.
