Celebrated musical stars from both New York's Broadway and London's West End have extended their best wishes for the Year of the Dragon. Among them are Ramin Karimloo, Samantha Barks, and Earl Carpenter, who all recently shared their greetings during an exclusive interview with CGTN.

Olivier and Tony Award nominee Ramin Karimloo has been lauded for his portrayal of leading roles including the Phantom in "The Phantom of the Opera" and Jean Valjean in "Les Miserables."

Samantha Bark's heart-rending portrayal of Eponine in "Les Miserables" earned her an international reputation as a world-class interpreter of song. She now plays Elsa in "Frozen" in London's West End.

Earl Carpenter is best known for the iconic role of Inspector Javert in "Les Miserables," and the title character in "The Phantom of the Opera."

Earlier this year, Ramin, Samantha and Earl embarked on a concert tour in China. The concert, titled "The Reunion," was held both in Beijing and Shanghai. The trio, along with the rest of their musical crew, presented numbers popular among musicals fans, and introduced a few songs that had never been performed in China.
