The second China Media Group (CMG) Annual Chinese TV Drama Ceremony was broadcast on Saturday on CCTV-1, and 18 honors were awarded at the event.

Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and president of CMG, attended the event and awarded honors for outstanding works of the year. 

The ceremony also released keywords for the development trends of Chinese TV dramas in 2024.

During the event, CMG launched a series of support plans to help the high-quality development of China's TV drama industry from areas such as drama support, talent training, and cultural and tourism co-creation.
