The European Parliament and member states reached agreement early on Saturday on the reform of European Union budgetary rules aimed at boosting investment while keeping spending under control.
"Deal!," the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU said on social media platform X after the overnight talks.
It will still need to be formally approved by MEPs and the 27 states.
