9 Pakistanis killed by gunmen in southeast Iran

Nine non-Iranian nationals were killed and three others were injured Sunday by three armed individuals in Saravan city in southeast Iran, semi-official news agency Tasnim reported, citing a provincial security official.

The victims of the shooting, which happened in Iran's second largest province of Sistan and Baluchestan, were identified as Pakistanis, according to the report.

A similar incident last month that took the lives of nine Pakistani workers in the same region.
