A grand float parade was held on the first day of the Year of the Dragon in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, attracting tens of thousands of spectators to flock to Tsim Sha Tsui – one of the most popular shopping districts in the metropolis.
A total of 9 local floats and 13 local performance groups as well as 16 performance groups from the Chinese mainland, Japan, South Korea and Australia performed at the event.
