The performance of "Chasing the Dream of the Tongliang Dragon" is the most popular part of the repertoire of the Tongliang Dragon Dance Team and Tongliang Dragon Art Troupe in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. The live show performed on an outdoor stage tells the story of a small carp that, after surviving a series of challenges, is ultimately transformed into a celestial dragon.
