On February 12, the drill bit has been replaced after digging 9,850 meters for the Shendi Take1 well, the first 10,000-meter scientific exploration well in China. Its main objectives are to explore the evolution of the Earth, the origin of life, climate change, disaster prevention and resource utilization.
