The Chinese New Year is the most important traditional festival for the Chinese people. Nowadays, many foreigners also celebrate this occasion. Luke Johnston from the UK interviewed local Chinese people in Chinatown of his hometown, Birmingham. He learned some customs associated with the Chinese New Year. Afterwards, Luke purchased Chinese ingredients and Chinese New Year decorations. Together with his mother, they adorned their home with decorations related to the Year of the Dragon and made some delicious Chinese food. They also recalled memories of the Chinese New Year while growing up and celebrated the arrival of the Chinese New Year.
