'Oh! My Greens' Ep. 11: A dream family garden for three generations

CGTN

05:52

Plants have withered in most parts of north China during the chilly December, but in Guilin City, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, they are still in full bloom.

Liang Qiongfang, who is known as Xin'er, has built a 6,000-square-meter family garden in Guilin where three generations of her family have enjoyed family time. In the garden, there are more than a thousand different plants. Xin'er hopes that people will be able to enjoy the flowers whenever they visit the garden.

About 'Oh! My Greens'

What is a garden? It is a utopia that carries our dreams for a better life. It is an art that reflects our understanding of beauty. It restores our connection with the land. But is that all? In this series, Liang Si, a photographer who fell in love with plants, visits 100 people living with plants to explore why people garden, how to garden and the stories behind gardens.
