With a history of 1,600 years, Jinci Temple is one of the oldest and most impressive imperial temple complexes in China. Eight wooden loongs (dragons) spiral eight wooden columns in front of Shengmu Palace, the main shrine of the temple. They are China's oldest and the only existing ones. During the Spring Festival holiday, many tourists have come to see the eight wooden loongs, especially since this year is the Year of the Loong, or the Dragon.
