Today is the 5th day of the lunar new year, and people in China and major cities around the world are coming together to honor and show respect to the Chinese god of wealth. Yuntai Mountain, nestled amidst this vibrant cultural tapestry, has witnessed an overwhelming influx of visitors partaking in rituals to welcome the deity of prosperity.
Recent data reveals that Yuntai Mountain has welcomed a staggering 160,000 domestic tourists during the first four days of the Spring Festival, representing a remarkable 48% surge compared to the corresponding period in 2023. Among these visitors, an astounding 60% hail from provinces beyond Yuntai Mountain's borders, while over 80% are young individuals in their twenties, thirties, and forties. This emerging trend underscores a shift in priorities, with an increasing number of people favoring enriching experiences such as travel and performances over materialistic indulgences.
