An ace unit of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force recently evaluated pilots of the country's indigenous J-20 stealth fighter to test their combat capabilities in their mandate to safeguard national and security interests. In the evaluation, the Wang Hai Air Group under a brigade of the PLA Eastern Theater Command aimed to test two pilots' ability to seize control of the air from the simulated enemy forces while flying a fifth-generation twin-engine fighter jet. The new pilots passed with flying colors after successfully completing advanced flight maneuvers and practical weapons control scenarios.
