Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto has won Indonesia's presidential election, as shown in various quick counts that came out on Wednesday night.

The quick counts were conducted by at least six leading pollsters live-streamed on the country's local news portals about one hour after the voting ended at 1:00 p.m. local time.

The results all show Subianto has secured about 58 percent of votes from the 90 percent of votes counted, while his two rivals, Anies Baswedan and Ganjar Pranowo, obtained around 25 percent and 16.5 percent of votes, respectively.

The official results will be released in mid-March by Indonesia's National Election Commission.
