Russia's air defense systems destroyed nine Ukraine-launched drones overnight over Russia's regions and the Black Sea, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Wednesday.

"Air defense systems intercepted and destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Belgorod (2 UAVs) and Voronezh (1 UAV) regions, as well as over the Black Sea (6 UAVs)," the statement said.

There has been no immediate response from Ukraine.
