A blast of gunfire killed at least one person and wounded 21 others in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, where the NFL champions the Kansas Chiefs were celebrating their Super Bowl victory, sending crowds of fans scurrying for safety. At least 22 people including children were struck by gunfire, one of them fatally, with 15 of those wounded suffering life-threatening injuries. Three people were detained and are under investigation.
