The Democrat-led U.S. Senate passed a $95-billion bill containing aid for Ukraine and Israel on Tuesday and sent the measure on to the Republican-controlled House of Representatives. What is Americans' take on this?

"The $95 billion of aid that the Senate approved for Israel and Ukraine seems to come in a very controversial moment," Edgar Costa, a freelancer from New York City, told CGTN, adding that the bill has a political purpose as the presidential election will take place in 2024.

Film student Sam Colon said he disagreed with the U.S. aid to Israel. "I think that we've provided plenty of aid, but the government has shown no willingness to exercise any kind of restraint," he said.
