The Democrat-led U.S. Senate passed a $95 billion bill containing aid for Ukraine and Israel on Tuesday, sending the measure to the Republican-controlled House of Representatives.

Customs entry clerk Nick Schaefer told CGTN he "super dislikes" the U.S. supporting Israel in what it is doing to Gaza. "Israel is a rich country, they can do it themselves. Besides, we have a lot of needs at home as well, so it's harder for me to say yes," he said.

While unsure whether the bill is beneficial for the U.S. as a country, freelancer Edgar Costa from New York City believes the package aligns with its military interests and the war industry. "The bill is something that needs to be kept up in order to put money to continue with the endeavors, aside from the outcome of helping others," he told CGTN.
