Thousands of Italian farmers continued to protest across the country on February 15 to oppose the European Union's new environmental policies and its large-scale import of agricultural products from outside. This is also the first time that Italian farmers have demonstrated in downtown Rome, but only a small number of tractors are allowed into the city according to police requirements.
