Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Friday that Germany would provide sustained backing to Ukraine as Kyiv's battle against Russia is about to enter its third year.
"We will not let up in our support for Ukraine," Scholz said in a press conference alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after the signing of a bilateral security agreement.
Scholz also announced a new 1.1-billion-euro ($1.2-billion) package of immediate military support.
