At least 10 people were killed and 15 others injured in an explosion at a firecracker factory in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, AFP reported Saturday, citing police.
The explosion was caused by a fire inside the factory, police officer Feroze Khan Abdullah told AFP. He said the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
He said the fire was soon brought under control.
