DR Congo's army on Saturday accused Rwanda of launching "attack drones" on Goma city's airport during the night, against a backdrop of fighting in the region against M23 rebels.
The drones "targeted aircraft of DRC Armed Forces," said Lieutenant-Colonel Guillaume Ndjike, the army's spokesperson for the North Kivu province, in a video broadcast by the local governor. Saying military aircraft were not hit, he added that "civilian aircraft were damaged."
