French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a 10-year security pact in Paris on Friday.

Under the pact, France will offer "up to 3 billion euros" ($3.23 billion) in aid to Kyiv in 2024, Macron said at a press conference alongside Zelenskyy.

The French president also said he would visit Ukraine by mid-March.

The pact with France was "ambitious and concrete," Zelenskyy said.

Earlier in the day, Zelenskyy and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz signed a long-term security agreement in Berlin. Ukraine signed a similar security agreement with the United Kingdom in January.
