Vietnam, like China, is one of the few countries in the world to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Tet, as the Vietnamese Spring Festival is called, is the largest and most lively traditional festival in Vietnam. Vietnamese regard the festival as a day to bid farewell to the old and welcome the new. On the occasion of the Year of the Dragon, Thanh Truc, a Vietnamese girl, took to the streets to show Vietnam's unique way of celebrating the festival and its unique festive atmosphere. In the video, she detailed the traditional customs of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, such as food, festival decoration, lion dance and red envelopes. She also shared her best wishes on the occasion.
