Though geopolitics and geo-economics roiled 2024, international cooperation is crucial on some of the world's greatest challenges. That's the principle as China and Norway celebrate the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relationship this year. Espen Barth Eide, minister of foreign affairs of Norway, visited China, and while in Beijing shared insights with CGTN host Tian Wei. He said it's important to understand the icy parts of the world and he welcomed research cooperation with China's institutes.
