During the Spring Festival, Chinese people use folk activities to express their good wishes for the coming new year. Tomas, a vlogger from the Netherlands, celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Dragon by going on a boat trip, which is a part of the "songfu" New Year event series in Hangzhou. "Songfu" in Chinese means sending blessings, and "song" also refers to the Song Dynasty. He cruised the mighty Grand Canal and visited popular spots all over the city. "I'm glad I learned about the 'songfu' New Year city trip, otherwise I wouldn't have known about all these historic sites," Tomas said.
