China will continue to make contributions that will help bring about an early settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning at a press briefing in Beijing on Monday. Mao made the statement in response to a reporter's question on hearings at the United Nation's (UN) highest court, the International Court of Justice, over Israel's occupation of Palestinian-claimed lands.
