Zhang Yiwei, 31, secured the snowboarding men's halfpipe silver medal at China's 14th National Winter Games in Hulun Buir, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on February 17.
In his first run, when Zhang flew through the air, his phone also flew out of his pocket. This little accident didn't affect his performance, however, as he still earned a final-leading 90.50 points.
However, Zhang's landing in the third run was problematic, causing him to lose to his apprentice, 20-year-old Wang Ziyang.
