The well-preserved old residential buildings have turned Wulin, a village in Jinjiang, Fujian Province, into a popular tourist destination. Boasting a history dating back more than 600 years, the village is home to dozens of traditional Minnan-style residential buildings with exquisitely sculptured red-brick declarations, Gothic-style and Romanesque-style buildings, as well as those featuring a combination of Chinese and Western architectural styles. Walking through the streets of the ancient village is like taking a tour of an architectural museum.
