Chinese provinces like Hubei, Henan and Anhui are bracing for another cold wave, with widespread snowfall and freezing rain expected.
The move follows a bout of extreme weather conditions just before the Chinese New Year, with Hubei Province being the most severely impacted. In response, Hubei has activated a Level IV emergency response. In its capital, Wuhan, various departments have been mobilized to ensure clear roads, maintain power supply and prevent potential secondary disasters.
