Wuhan takes proactive measures to ensure safety, power before snowfall

Chinese provinces like Hubei, Henan and Anhui are bracing for another cold wave, with widespread snowfall and freezing rain expected.

The move follows a bout of extreme weather conditions just before the Chinese New Year, with Hubei Province being the most severely impacted. In response, Hubei has activated a Level IV emergency response. In its capital, Wuhan, various departments have been mobilized to ensure clear roads, maintain power supply and prevent potential secondary disasters.
